Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 (Left) Exhaust

CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REPLACEMENT - BANK 2 (LEFT) EXHAUST

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition OFF.




2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (2).

IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect the power steering fluid lines/hoses from the reservoir.




3. Disconnect the CMP sensor bolt.
4. Remove the CMP sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the CMP sensor.
2. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the CMP sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector (2).
