Front Seat Adjuster Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bucket seat.
2. Remove the inner cushion trim cover.
3. Remove the outer cushion trim cover.
4. Remove the front seat belt buckle.




5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front seat adjuster motors.




6. Remove the bolts from the seat adjuster.




7. Remove the adjuster from the seat cushion frame.
8. Remove the handle from the seat adjuster.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front seat adjuster to the seat cushion frame.




2. Install the seat back recliner cable to the recessed space on the right and on the left sides of the seat cushion frame.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the bolts to the front seat adjuster.

Tighten the bolts to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

4. Install the handle to the front seat adjuster.




5. Connect the electrical connectors to the front seat adjuster motors.
6. Install the front seat belt buckle. Refer to the following procedures:

* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front
* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front

7. Install the inner cushion trim cover.
8. Install the outer cushion trim cover.
9. Install the bucket seat.
10. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration.
