Oil Pump Drive Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the lower intake manifold.
2. Remove the oil pump drive bolt.
3. Remove the oil pump drive clamp.
4. Remove the oil pump drive.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply prelube to the oil pump drive gear. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants for the correct part number.
2. Apply engine oil to the oil pump drive gear for ease of assembly.
3. Install the oil pump drive.
4. Position the oil pump drive clamp.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Install the oil pump drive bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 36 N.m (27 lb ft).

6. Install the lower intake manifold.
