Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet

Tools Required

GE-47622 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill).
2. Remove the wiper motor module assembly.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition.
4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
5. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube.




6. Disconnect the outlet heater hose (3) from the outlet heater pipe (4).




7. Disconnect the outlet heater hose clamp using the GE-47622.
8. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the heater core.
9. Remove the outlet heater hose.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the outlet heater hose.




2. Connect the outlet heater hose to the heater core.
3. Connect the heater hose clamp using the GE-47622.




4. Connect the outlet heater hose (3) to the outlet heater pipe (4).
5. Install the transmission fluid filler tube.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
7. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster.
8. Install the wiper motor module assembly.
9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill).
