Engine Flywheel Replacement

Tools Required

J 43442 Flywheel Holder

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the automatic transaxle.
2. Use the J 43442 to secure the flywheel in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.




3. Remove the flywheel bolts.
4. Remove the flywheel.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the flywheel.
2. Install the flywheel bolts until snug.
3. Use the J 43442 to secure the flywheel in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Tighten the flywheel bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 71 N.m (52 lb ft).

5. Install the automatic transaxle.
