Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Position the rear door window in the full down position.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the window weatherstrip.
6. Loosen the bolts (1) to the clevice clamps.




7. Remove the window from the outside of the rear door.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the rear door window between the inner and the outer door panels.
2. Point the lower rear corner of the window down and pass through the belt opening.
3. Align the edges with the weatherstrip channel.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Turn the window to a horizontal position and align the window with the clevice clamps.

Tighten the clevice clamps bolts (1) to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

5. Install the window weatherstrip.

Important: Do NOT allow the sealing lips on the outer belt sealing strip to roll over and point downwards. If this condition is present the window will not raise properly.

6. Install the outer belt sealing strip.
7. Install the water deflector.
8. Install the trim panel.
