Models:
2008 BUICK ENCLAVE

General Motors previously announced product recall involving 2008 model year Buick Enclave and 2007-2008 model year GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook vehicles currently or previously registered in states with moderate to heavy annual snowfall (see above). Customers outside of the areas mentioned above are being provided with a customer advisory letter in the event that they travel into one of the involved areas.
CUSTOMER ADVISORY COVERAGE
Customers whose vehicles are registered in other states can choose to have the wiper crank arm, driver-side link, and crank arm nut replaced if they expect to drive in heavy snow and ice conditions. If the customer requests this service, dealers are to provide it without charge according to the bulletin.

Courtesy Transportation - For US
The General Motors Courtesy Transportation program is intended to minimize customer inconvenience when a vehicle requires a repair that is covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranties. The availability of courtesy transportation to customers whose vehicles are within the warranty coverage period and involved in a product program is very important in maintaining customer satisfaction. Dealers are to ensure that these customers understand that shuttle service or some other form of courtesy transportation is available and will be provided at no charge. GM dealers should refer to the General Motors Service Policies and Procedures Manual for Courtesy Transportation guidelines. Saturn Canada retailers should refer to applicable Home Office letter on this subject.
