Inspection

1. Wash all parts except the pump seals in solvent.

2. Inspect all parts for wear, distortion or damage.

3. Check pump shaft bearing assembly. If replacement is necessary, proceed as follows:

a. Drive out bearing towards pump pocket using tools J-28698 and J-7079-2.

b. Install new bearing from pump pocket side using the same tools until bearing cup is .45-15 mm (.005-017 inch) below pump pocket face.
