SUBJECT: A/C MOAN REDUCTION INFORMATION

MODELS AFFECTED: 1982-83 REGAL, LESABRE, ELECTRA AND WITH 3.8L OR 4.1L. V-6 ENGINE

A/C BRACKET:

This bulletin supersedes Dealer Service Bulletin 83-196, which should be discarded.

Some of the above models equipped with a 3.8L (VIN Code A) or 4.1L (VIN Code 4) V-6 engine and air conditioning may experience a moan condition at 50-55 mph or approximately 1,300 engine rpm.

The brace and bracket used in production for 1984 models will repair this condition.
