The front end panel on 1982 Skyhawk models may distort away from its retainers above the headlamps. Retainer brackets have been released to hold the front end panel in place.
These retainer brackets may be obtained through WDDGM by ordering the following part numbers:
- Bracket, Right Side 25516536
- Bracket, Left Side 25516537
The brackets can be installed using the following procedure:
1. Remove headlight bezel.
ILLUSTRATION:
2. Install front end panel retainer bracket between fascia and existing support panel so that the bolt hole lines up with mounting hole for headlamp bezel (see Illustration).
3. Use headlamp bezel retaining nut to hold retainer in place. Installation of center headlamp bezel screws will complete assembly (see Illustration).
