SUBJECT: TOP MATERIAL FLAPS AGAINST BACK CURTAIN
MODELS AFFECTED: 1983 BUICK CONVERTIBLE STYLES
If a condition is encountered where the convertible top material flaps against the back curtain assembly, the condition can be corrected by installing a 250 mm (approximately) piece of adhesive-backed pile (Part No. 20380766) between top and back curtains as shown in Illustration. The adhesive backing should be installed to the back curtain with the pile facing outboard.
