THE GM GOODWRENCH350 DIESEL ENGINE:
SUBJECT: GM GOODWRENCH 350 DIESEL ENGINE
A GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine is now available through WDDGM for certain current and past model vehicles equipped with a 5.7 liter V8 diesel engine. All GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engines are manufactured with new components. They all contain roller lifter valve trains and incorporate all parts.
NOTICE: 1981 model Canadian and export passenger cars and 1981 model light duty trucks built with pencil type nozzles and internal EGR cylinder heads cannot utilize a GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine. It will be necessary to utilize a partial engine or fitted block currently available from WDDGM.

Service Parts
The GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine uses current model parts, except as listed on the following chart. When servicing a vehicle with 5.7 liter diesel engine, it will be necessary to determine if a GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine has been installed. Each GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine will have a distinctive label on each valve cover for easy identification. In addition, you will be supplied an additional label to attach to the front of the air cleaner. These visual aids will allow you to readily identify this engine and order the proper parts for service.
