Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1982---85 RIVIERA & 1982---83 REGAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Depress retainer through slot in rear of switch knob, then pull knob from stem.
3. Remove switch escutcheon, then the instrument cluster bezel.
4. Remove screws securing switch to instrument panel, then pull switch away from panel. Disconnect twilight sentinel harness, if equipped, prior to pulling switch from instrument panel.
5. On Regal models, disconnect electrical connector from switch.
6. On all models, reverse procedure to install.
