350C Auto Transmission





1. Remove cover to body bolts and remove spring seat retainer, intermediate clutch return springs and piston assembly.





2. Remove oil seal rings and selective thrust washer from pump hub. Some models are equipped with needle thrust bearings.

Note: Do not remove forward clutch teflon oil seal rings, unless damaged.





3. Remove pump cover and stator shaft assembly from pump
body.





4. Remove pump gears.





5. Replace all seals.





6. Remove priming valve and spring.





7. Removeing converter blow-off valve seat. Pack cavity with grease and tap rod with hammer to lift seat.





8. Install needle thrust bearing, if equipped, on pump cover with lip facing downward.





9. Oil pump disassembled. Reverse procedure to assemble. Torque pump to cover bolts to 15 ft. lbs.
