A/T - 3254L Very Harsh 1-2 Shift at Any Speed

SUBJECT: 325-4L

COMPLAINT:
A very harsh 1-2 shift at any speed.

CAUSE:




The cause may be that the # 8 check ball has peened its way through the separator plate, or at least damaged the seat.

CORRECTION:
The only correction is to replace the separator plate which is made of a harder material.
