MODELS AFFECTED: 1984 SKYHAWKS EQUIPPED WITH A 1.8L ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (VIN CODE O ONLY)


NOTE: This bulletin supersedes the original 85-6E-13. Please discard the previous bulletin and replace it with this one.

A comment of surge or sag during acceleration, before the engine is completely warm may be addressed with a revised service PROM.

The service PROM # 1227074 has revised calibration to assist engine performance during warm-up operation. The service PROM should be used only to address the above conditions. Fully warm calibration is unchanged.
