SUBJECT: BLUSHING EXTERIOR DISPERSION LACQUER PAINT
MODELS AFFECTED: 1985 SKYHAWK, CENTURY, LESABRE, AND ELECTRA AND LESABRE ESTATE WAGONS
The paint condition described in Bulletin 85-10-31 would only occur during the first few months after the car was produced. The last affected vehicles were produced in July, 1985. Therefore, after more than one year from the date of manufacture, it is unlikely that the contamination described in 85-10-31 could materialize.
For this reason, upon receipt of this bulletin, no further claims will be accepted for blushing exterior finish under Operation T0132.
All future paint claims shall be resolved in accordance with policies and procedures applicable to 1985 model Buicks.
