SUBJECT: OIL LEAK AT CRANKSHAFT BALANCER ASSEMBLY ATTACHING BOLT
MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1985 AND PRIOR MODELS WITH 3.0L (VIN CODE E & L) AND 3.8L (VIN CODE A, 3 & 9) V6 ENGINES
If an engine oil leak occurs at the crankshaft balancer assembly attaching bolt on the above engines, it can be repaired by removing the bolt and replacing the washer under the bolt head with a new washer, Part number 25525918.
