SUBJECT: LOW PROFILE HALOGEN HEADLAMP OPERATION
MODELS AFFECTED: 1986 CENTURY, SKYHAWK SPORT AND T-TYPE HATCHBACK
Comments have been received concerning headlamp operation. The models delineated above use the "F" Type lower profile halogen headlamps. These headlamps produce greater illumination output than previous halogen headlamps.
High bean illumination uses only the inner headlamps. Low beam illumination uses only the outer headlamps. No attempt should be made to wire the low beam headlamps to operate on high beam, since illumination would exceed current legal limits.
