Dear Buick Owner:

Some 1986 front wheel drive LeSabres produced with a 3.8L V-6 engine may experience excessive oil consumption due to improperly seated valve stem seals.

To correct this condition, your Buick dealer will replace the engine's intake and exhaust valve stem seals. This service will be performed at no charge to you.

Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your dealer. Please contact your dealer to arrange a service date. The time required to perform this service is about one hour and 45 minutes. Please ask your dealer if you wish to know how much additional time will be necessary to process your vehicle.
