SUBJECT: BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE PIPE
MODELS AFFECTED: 1986-87 ELECTRA AND LESABRE WITH AIR CONDITIONING
Some 1986-87 Electras and LeSabres may experience a broken air conditioning compressor discharge pipe (broken between the compressor and muffler). If this condition occurs and a new discharge pipe, Part Number 25529255, is ordered from GMSPO, this number will be superseded by part number 25530596. Part number 25530596 has a larger (3/4") O.D. tube to prevent recurrence.
