Fluid Change
1. Raise and support vehicle, then place a suitable drain pan under transmission.2. Loosen rear pan attaching bolts approximately 4 turns, then carefully pry oil pan loose with a suitable tool and allow to drain.
3. Remove oil pan retaining bolts, then the oil pan and gasket.
4. Drain fluid from pan, then clean pan with a suitable solvent.
5. If necessary, remove screen-to-valve body attaching bolts, then the screen and gasket
6. Clean screen in a suitable solvent, then dry using compressed air. Replace paper or felt type filters.
7. Apply petroleum jelly to new O-ring, then install new gasket or O-ring as required. Install screen attaching bolts, then torque to specifications .
8. Place new gasket on oil pan, then insert and finger tighten pan attaching bolts. Torque attaching bolts to specifications.
9. Lower vehicle then add recommended transmission fluid to specifications.
10. With selector lever in Park position, apply parking brake, then start and idle engine.
11. Add additional fluid to bring oil level between two dimples on dipstick Road test vehicle, then recheck oil level.
