Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
RIVIERA & TORONADO
1. On models with standard wheel, remove 2 screws securing pad from rear of steering wheel. On models with sport wheel, carefully pry up center cap.
2. Disconnect horn lead from cam tower, and disconnect cruise control electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Scribe alignment mark between steering wheel and shaft, then remove retainer and nut.
4. Remove steering wheel using suitable puller.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel nut to 35 ft. lbs.
