1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove six screws attaching steering column trim cover to instrument panel and two screws attaching trim cover to lefthand instrument panel trim cover, then remove trim cover.
3. Remove screw attaching right end of lefthand trim cover to instrument panel, then pull trim cover rearward to disengage retaining clips and remove cover.
4. Remove screw attaching left end of righthand trim cover to instrument panel, then remove two screws from under center trim cover and four screws from front of glove compartment. Pull righthand trim cover rearward to disengage retaining clips, then disconnect wire connectors and remove trim cover.
5. Remove seven screws attaching cluster trim cover to instrument cluster pad, then remove trim cover.
6. Remove five screws attaching bezel and lens to instrument cluster carrier, then remove bezel and lens.
7. Loosen two upper steering column mounting bolts, then lower steering column slightly to provide clearance for cluster removal.
8. Remove four screws attaching cluster housing to cluster carrier, then pull housing slightly outward and disconnect speedometer cable and remove cluster housing, Fig. 8.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
