SUBJECT: LOCKING FUEL FILLER DOOR WILL NOT OPEN
MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-86 SOMERSET 1986 SKYLARK
If subject condition is encountered due to a disconnected release cable, the fuel filler door may be opened by using the following procedure:
1. Open deck lid and pull back the right quarter trim panel of the trunk.
2. Locate the fuel filler door release cable.
3. Grasp cable just behind grommet and pull rearward.
