With Air Conditioning

1. Set FUNCTION SELECTOR in the A/C CONTROL HEAD to OFF, Blower Switch to LO, and Temperature Selector to COLD.

^ Blower is off.
^ No air is flowing from any outlet.

2. Set Function Selector to MAX.

^ Engine idle increases and Compressor comes on.
^ Blower runs at low speed.
^ Air flows from Instrument Panel outlets.
^ Air from outlets gets colder.

3. Change Blower Switch from LO to M1, from M1 to M2, and from M2 to HI.

^ Air flow increases each time switch is moved to higher position.
^ Cold air flows only from Instrument Panel outlets.

4. Set Mode Selector to NORM.

^ Cold, high-speed air flows from instrument panel outlets.
^ Blower sound decreases as recirculating door opens to allow outside air to enter.

5. Put Mode Selector to BI-LEV.

^ High-speed air flows from instrument panel outlets and floor outlets.

6. Put Mode Selector to VENT.

^ Engine idle decreases and compressor goes off.
^ High-speed outside air flows from instrument panel outlets.

7. Put Mode Selector to HTR and Temperature Selector to HOT.

^ Warm, high-speed air flows from floor outlets.
^ No air flows from Instrument Panel outlets.
^ Small amount of air flows from windshield outlets.

8. Put Mode Selector to DEF.

^ Warm high-speed air flows from windshield outlets.
^ No air flows from Instrument Panel outlets.
^ Small amount of air flows from floor outlets.

9. Put Mode Selector to OFF.

^ Blower turns off.
