Oil Pressure High or Low
1. Throttle valve cable improperly adjusted, binding, disconnected or broken.2. Throttle lever and bracket improperly installed, disconnected or binding.
3. Throttle valve shift valve, throttle valve or plunger binding.
4. Pressure regulator valve and spring malfunctioning due to:
a. Binding valve.
b. Incorrect spring.
c. Oil pressure control orifice in pump cover plugged, causing high oil pressure.
d. Pressure regulator bore plug leaking.
5. Manual valve disconnected.
6. Intermediate boost valve binding, causing oil pressures to be incorrect in 2nd and low ranges.
7. Orifice in spacer plate at end of intermediate boost valve plugged.
8. Reverse boost valve binding, causing pressure to be incorrect in reverse only.
9. Orifice in spacer plate at end of reverse boost valve plugged.
10. No. 1 check ball missing or leaking.
