SUBJECT: ENGINE NO START, QUIT OR POOR DRIVEABILITY
MODELS AFFECTED: SOME 1987 BUICK REGALS EQUIPPED WITH 5.0L ENGINES (VIN CODE Y)
Some 1987 Regals equipped with a 5.0L engine may experience a no start, quit, or poor driveability condition which may be caused by a poor ECM ground on the engine. Tightening the ECM grounds on the rear of the engine may correct the condition. All other diagnostic checks should also be performed to ensure the condition is corrected.
