MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 SKYHAWKS WITH U14 OR U21 GAUGE PACKAGE


Some 1987 Buick Skyhawks equipped with gauge packages may exhibit a condition where the oil pressure gauge reads low pressure, especially when the engine is idling at low speed when fully warmed up.



This condition may be caused by an oil pressure/volts gauge in the instrument panel which is different than the gauge required for use with the new oil pressure sender put into production on 1987 models. Refer to illustration.

When this condition is encountered, the oil pressure/volts gauge should be replaced using the following new part numbers:
