CODE DEFINITION BODY STYLE
1 Two door coupe/sedan 11,27,37,47,57
2 Two door hatchback 77,

8 Four door station wagon 35
The 7th position of the passenger car VIN will define the restraint system. For 1987 the following are applicable:
CODE DEFINITION

4 Automatic belts (Passive Restraints)
This change will be made since additional restraint systems will be introduced beginning with the 1987 model year.
