Wheel Alignment - Recommendations

Bulletin 87-3-6A

Date May '87

Ref. No. 87-064A-3

Corp. Ref. No. 793102
SUBJECT: WHEEL ALIGNMENT

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1987 GM PASSENGER CARS
Buick Service Bulletin 87-3-6 was published to provide a simple, convenient chart of all 1987 model passenger car wheel alignment specifications. It was not meant to imply that resetting was necessary at the dealership. In fact, with today's state-of-the-art factory alignment equipment and procedures, there should be even less need for resetting.

As in the past, alignment should be checked only when a specific customer condition relating to alignment is encountered. Such alignment checking/resetting should not be done until the customer has accumulated at least 500 miles so that suspension geometry has a chance to settle.
