1-2 Shift Only at Pull Throttle Only

1. Check for binding, disconnected, broken, or improperly adjusted throttle valve cable.

2. Check for binding or disconnected throttle lever and bracket assembly.

3. Check for binding, improperly positioned, or disconnected throttle valve exhaust ball or No.5 ball, allowing No. 5 ball to seal, causing full throttle valve pressure regardless of throttle valve position.

4. Check for binding throttle valve and plunger.

5. Check for leaking, damaged, or incorrectly installed valve body gaskets on control valve assembly.

6. Check for case porosity.
