Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pry steering column collar rearward, using a suitable tool, and remove.
3. Remove two outer ducts, then the two screws behind the ducts.
4. Remove screw from behind steering column collar.
5. On models less console, open ash tray and remove two screws.
6. On models with console, remove two screws from ash tray cover and trim plate.
7. On all models, pull trim plate rearward to release clips, then remove trim plate.
8. Remove switch to instrument panel attaching screws, then pull switch rearward and remove.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
