DIGITAL CLUSTER (U52) DISPLAY FLICKERS OR SEATBELT TELLTALE MOMENTARILY FLASHES

MODELS AFFECTED:
1987-90 PARK AVENUE AND LESABRE MODELS WITH U52 OPTIONAL DIGITAL CLUSTER


CONDITION:

Some vehicles equipped with digital cluster (U52) may exhibit the condition of a flickering display or a fasten seatbelt telltale which may momentarily flash on during power surges. The seatbelt telltale will continue to operate normally and will illuminate when required.

CORRECTION:

A resistor has been changed on the display board. In order to correct the above condition, follow the normal procedure to procure an exchange cluster from the Delco Repair Center.

Use the appropriate Labor Operation and Time for the model vehicle being serviced.
