From Bottom
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT1. Battery cables
2. Drain coolant.
3. Battery remote jump-start terminal from body (2 nuts leave cables attached)
4. Cooling fan electrical connections.
5. Air cleaner assembly
6. Transmission cooler lines at radiator
7. Transmission dipstick
8. Upper radiator hose from engine and pull back
9. Lower radiator hose from engine and pull back
10. Heater outlet hose from water pump
11. Heater inlet hose at rear of engine
12. Air inlet hose at intake manifold and remove air filter assembly and mass air sensor
13. Relieve fuel pressure.
14. Serpentine belt cover and belt
15. Shift cable linkage and cable from mounting bracket
Note: If necessary put transmission in low gear for accessibility.
16. Accelerator and cruise control cable (if equipped) from throttle linkage
17. A/C pressure switch electrical connector
18. Vacuum check valve at power brake booster
19. Canister purge vacuum line at engine
20. Torque struts at engine
21. Upper secondary cowl
22. Electrical block connector at right side cowl
23. Upper bolts securing wiring harness plastic bracket to body side rail
24. ECM and fuse block and set on engine
25. Strut to body mounting nuts
26. Vacuum hose at vacuum reservoir
27. Raise vehicle.
28. Remaining bolt securing wiring harness plastic bracket to body side rail
29. Right and Left tire and wheel assemblies
3O. Right side splash shield
31. Oil filter
32. A/C compressor leaving rear bracket attached to compressor
33. Compressor from engine compartment and hang from body
34. Exhaust down pipe from crossover
35. Steering gear pinch bolt
36. Brake hose bracket at strut
37. Right and left brake calipers and hang from body
38. Lower vehicle engine to place engine/transaxle table under cradle.
39. Cradle bolts.
40. Lower table with powertrain.
41. Raise vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. Slowly lower the body onto the powertrain.
2. Bolt struts to shock towers
3. Cradle bolts
Tighten
^ Cradle bolts at 105 Nm (77 lbs. ft.)
4. Remove engine/transaxle table from under cradle.
5. Right and left brake calipers
6. Brake hose bracket at strut
7. Steering gear pinch bolt
8. Exhaust down pipe to crossover
9. A/C compressor
10. Oil filter
11. Right side splash shield
12. Tire and wheel assemblies
13. Lower bolt securing wiring harness bracket to body side rail
14. Lower vehicle.
15. Vacuum hose to vacuum reservoir
16. ECM and fuse block
17. Remaining bolts securing wiring harness bracket to body
18. Electrical block connector to right side cowl
19. Upper secondary cowl
20. Torque struts at engine
21. Canister purge vacuum line
22. Vacuum check valve at power brake booster
23. A/C pressure switch electrical connector
24. Accelerator and cruise control cable (if equipped) to throttle linkage
25. Shift cable and linkage to mounting bracket
26. Serpentine belt and belt cover
27. Mass air sensor, air filter, and air inlet hose to manifold
28. Heater inlet hose to rear of engine
29. Heater outlet hose to water pump
30. Lower radiator hose to engine
31. Upper radiator hose to engine
32. Transmission dipstick
33. Transmission cooler lines from radiator
34. Air cleaner assembly
35. Cooling fan electrical connections
36. Battery remote jump start terminal to body
37. Fill all necessary fluid levels.
38. Battery cables
Inspect

^ Leaks
^ Completion of repair
