EGR Filter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the filter cover, using extreme care to avoid breaking the electronic Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cover and dislodging the vacuum regulator. This cover can best be removed by prying each segment from the locking lip and gently rocking to remove.
2. Remove the old EGR filter.

INSTALLATION
1. Install a new EGR filter.
2. Install the filter cover.
