System Check

Begin your diagnosis of the TEVES ABS by reading the "SERVICE PRECAUTIONS" under the "ANTILOCK BRAKE" heading. The second step in the diagnosis is performing the "ABS FUNCTIONAL CHECK". This chart will direct you to the appropriate section of the ALLDATA repair manual to continue the diagnosis. The chart will also indicate the action to be taken if there is a "BRAKE" or "ANTILOCK" lamp malfunction. This systematic approach will provide the most accurate means of diagnosing the Antilock Braking System.
