This bulletin applies to 1988 2.0L (VIN K) Skyhawk Service Manual. The information updates Chart A-7 in Section 6E2 (DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS-TBI), fuel system diagnosis.

The Throttle Body Injection (TBI) unit used on this engine contains a constant bleed in the fuel meter assembly which allows fuel pressure to bleed down when the engine is turned "OFF". The new fuel system diagnosis procedures follow:
