SUBJECT: INSUFFICIENT LUBRICATION DOOR LOCK CYLINDERS

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1989 BUICKS


A number of door lock cylinders may have been assembled with insufficient lubrication. The condition has been corrected at the supplier.

Vehicles may be corrected by using GM lubricant, part number 12345120. If this lubricant is not available, synthetic SAE 5-W-30 engine oil may be substituted.
