1. Remove three retaining screws from front of right sound insulator and four retaining screws from left side insulator, Fig. 99.
2. Remove sound insulator retaining nut from rear of insulator.
3. Remove sound insulator courtesy lamp sockets, then remove insulators from vehicle.
4. Remove six steering column filler to lower left instrument panel retaining screws, then the filler.
5. Gently pull defroster grille from instrument panel.
6. Remove three upper trim pad retaining screws, then the trim pad.
7. Remove retaining screw attaching glove box door limit arm to glove box door.
8. Remove four glove box door retaining screws.
9. Remove four glove box to instrument panel retaining screws.
10. Disconnect instrument panel electrical connectors, then remove instrument panel from vehicle, Fig. 100.
