Check ride height as follows:
1. Lift center of front bumper up approximately 1-1/2 inches, then gently release and let vehicle settle. Repeat twice.
2. Using your arms, lift center of rear bumper up approximately 1-1/2 inches, then gently release and let vehicle settle. Repeat twice.
3. Measure dimension Z (front ride height) as shown in Fig. 6 and dimension D (rear ride height) as shown in Fig. 7.
4. Eldorado and Seville dimension Z measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 Eldorado and Seville should measure 2.09 inches ± .24 inch (53 mm ± 6 mm).
b. 1990-92 Eldorado should measure 2.05 inches ±.24 inch (52 mm ±6 mm).
c. 1990-92 Seville should measure 2.01 inches ±.24 inch (51 mm ±6 mm).
5. Reatta and Riviera dimension Z measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 Reatta models should measure 1.70 inches ± .24 inch (43 mm ± 6 mm).
b. 1989 Riviera models should measure 1.81 inches ± .24 inch (46 mm ± 6 mm).
c. 1990-92 Reatta should measure 2.17 inches, ± .24 inch (55 mm ± 6 mm).
d. 1990-92 Riviera should measure 1.85 inches ± .24 inch (47 mm ± 6 mm).
6. Toronado and Trofeo dimension Z measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 models should measure 1.93 inches, with a minimum of 1.69 inches and a maximum of 2.17 inches (49 mm ± 6 mm).
b. 1990-92 models should measure 1.81 inches, with a minimum of 1.58 inches and a maximum of 2.05 inches (46 mm ± 6 mm).
7. Eldorado and Seville dimension D measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 Eldorado should measure 1.22 inches ± .28 inch (31 mm ± 7 mm).
b. 1989 Seville models should measure 1.38 inches ± .28 inch (35 mm ± 7 mm).
c. 1990-92 Eldorado should measure 1.14 inches ± .28 inch (29 mm ± 7 mm).
d. 1990-92 Seville should measure 1.18 inches ± .28 inch (30 mm ± 7 mm).
8. Reatta and Riviera dimension D measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 Reatta should measure .98 inch ± .28 inch (25 mm ± 7 mm).
b. 1989 Riviera should measure 1.18 inches ± .28 inch (30 mm ± 7 mm).
c. 1990-92 Reatta should measure 1.46 inches, ± .28 inch (37 mm ± 7 mm).
d. 1990-92 Riviera should measure 1.18 inches, ± .28 inch (30 mm ± 7 mm).
9. Toronado and Trofeo dimension D measurements are as follows:
a. 1989 models should measure .98 inch, with a minimum of .71 inch and a maximum of 1.26 inches (25 mm ± 7 mm).
b. 1990-92 models should measure .95 inch, with a minimum of .67 inch and a maximum of 1.22 inches (24 mm ± 7 mm).
