R: Ignition Switch Open Test

Connect a fused jumper from Coolant Temperature Sensor connector (DK GRN) to ground. Turn the Ignition Switch to RUN. Observe the Temperature Display.

^ If the Display now shows hot and/or Code 004 is set, check/repair the Ignition Switch and DK GRN and DK GRN/WHT (35) wires for an open (see schematic).

^ If the Display still shows cold, check for an open in the DX GRN and DK GRN/WHT (35) wires to the Instrument Cluster.
