1988-89 REGALS WITH 2.8L ENGINES (VIN CODE W)
1989 REGALS WITH 3.lL ENGINES (VIN CODE T)








The throttle body attaching bolt torque and fuel rail attaching bolt torque specifications are incorrect in some service manuals. The correct torque specifications are:

Throttle body to plenum attaching bolts - 25 N-m (18 lb.ft.) Fuel rail to intake manifold attachinq bolts - 10 N-m (88 lb.in.)

When reinstalling the intake plenum, tighten plenum attaching bolts to 21 N-m (16 lb.ft.).
