SQUEAKS AT DOOR TO AUXILIARY SEALING STRIP


MODELS AFFECTED:
1988-89 REGALS


Customer comments of squeaks in the area of the upper door to roof on Regals may be due to the door frame sticking slightly to the auxiliary sealing strip on the roof.

New parts are available from GMSPO to repair this condition and the part numbers are as follows:

^ 10138332-3 Weatherstrip assembly side roof rail auxiliary (Right and Left)

Parts are expected to be available on January 9, 1989. Until then normal part orders will not be accepted by GMSPO. Only verifiable emergency VIP orders will be accepted. SPO will make every effort to obtain parts. All parts will be placed on 400 control to waive VIP surcharges. However, the part will be shipped premium transportation at dealers expense. All other order types will be canceled as incorrectly ordered while the 400 control is in place.
