SUBJECT: FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING SQUAWK NOISE (REPLACE STABILIZER BAR LOWER CONTROL ARM INSULATOR)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988-90 REGAL COUPE


CONDITION:

Some 1988-90 Regals assembled prior to VIN L1407852 may exhibit a squawking noise from the front of the vehicle at low ambient temperatures and normal vehicle operation.

CAUSE:

May be caused by the front stabilizer bar rotating in the lower control arm stabilizer bar insulators.

CORRECTION:

Replace existing lower control arm stabilizer bar insulators with new high compression insulators P/N 10152155 (2 required) following applicable shop manual procedure.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
