1. Check the security indicator, wiring and terminal contact for an open. Repair or replace as necessary.

TABLE C: SYSTEM WON'T ARM; SECURITY INDICATOR STAYS ON AFTER DOOR IS CLOSED.
1. Check the door jamb switches, tamper switches, keyless entry module (if equipped), and wiring for a short to ground.
2. If results are correct, replace the theft deterrent module.

Table D: System Won't Cancel:

TABLE D: SYSTEM WON'T CANCEL ARMING WHEN POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH IS UNLOCKED.

Table E: System Won't Disarm With Door Key:

TABLE E: SYSTEM WON'T DISARM WITH DOOR KEY.
^ Connect: test lamp
^ At: theft deterrent module connector (disconnected).
^ Condition: Hold key in UNLOCK position in each door lock cylinder.

TABLE H:
1. ARM system.
^ If there is a false alarm, go to step 2.
^ If there is no false alarm, check the condition of the door jamb switches and tamper switches. If contacts are too close together moisture may cause a false alarm. Check LT BLU(263) and BLK/WHT(624) wires for intermittent shorts to ground.

2. With alarms sounding, disconnect theft deterrent controller module connector.
^ If alarm stops, go to table 2.
^ If alarms continue, go to table 1.
