1. Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove accessory drive, Fig. 26.
4. Remove tensioner pulley attaching bolt, then remove pulley.
5. Remove power steering pump from bracket and position aside.
6. Loosen, but do not remove, alternator attaching bolts, then remove alternator to tensioner attaching bolt.
7. Remove tensioner attaching bolt and studs, then remove.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
9. Rearm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
