Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disarm airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of airbag, possibly causing personal injury.
2. Turn ignition switch to the Off position.
3. Remove two upper panel cluster attaching screws, then pull trim plate out of lower retaining clips.
4. Remove two switch attaching screws, then switch assembly, Fig. 11.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. After all work has been completed, rearm airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
