I003

Code I003 will set if the Ignition is ON and the sender resistance at the Instrument Cluster was at or above 100 ohms for 5 successive readings in a 2.5 second time period.

TEST EXPLANATIONS

The circled numbers refer to the test procedures in the trouble tree.

1. This step checks to see if CKT 30 and CKT 151 are good.

2. This step checks to see if the open is in CKT 30 or CKT 151.

3. This step checks to see if the problem is in the Instrument Cluster.

4. This step checks to see if the open is in CKT 30, Instrument Cluster connector C1 or in the Instrument Cluster.
