Rear Suspension

1. Raise rear of vehicle and support rear axle under front side of spring seat using a jack.
2. If right hand side bushing is to be replaced, disconnect parking brake cable from equalizer.
3. Remove parking brake cables from bracket attachment, then position out of way.
4. Disconnect brake line bracket from frame.
5. Disconnect shock absorber from lower mounting, then pull spring out of way.
6. Remove four control arm to underbody attaching bolts, then allow control arm to rotate downward.
7. Remove nut and bolt from bracket attachment, then remove bracket.

8. Reverse procedure to install control arm. Install bracket to control arm as shown in Fig. 2.
